Picture this.... it's Birkie race morning, you drive to Hayward Elementary School by 6:00am, park your car, and climb onto a warm chartered coach bus.  On the bus there is coffee and bagels to snack on as you drive to the start line.  Along the way you hear from Birkie Staff about race course conditions and meet your fellow Birkie skiers in relative luxury. You arrive at the start line and bus parks DIRECTLY NEXT TO THE DERKSEN START HOUSE ONLY a few feet from the start line itself.  You leave your belongings on the bus when you step out to start your race. 

After a great race, you walk back to the Hayward Elementary School, collect your belonging from the bus, change and have immediate access to your car.  

Agenda:

Arrive at 6:00am at Hayward Elementary School

Drive to Start on the coach bus and enjoy some coffee and light breakfast items

Await your start on the warm bus, leaving your items on the coach bus

Ski your race

Return to the bus for your items after the race

Have your items off of the bus by 5pm, the bus will be parked at the Hayward Elementary School Parking Lot until 5pm.
